On October 26th, the HeatSpring Learning Institute will be conducting a “Renewable Energy 101″ workshop at our offices at 25 First Street in Cambridge. This event is aimed at current students, recent graduates, young professionals, career changers and entrepreneurs who are interested in learning more about renewable energy, both as a technology and as an industry.
Topics covered in this one-day course include the technical, financial, and industry fundamentals of solar PV, solar thermal, and geothermal energy; a separate Q&A allows participants to get the feedback, advice, and information they need to make their own start in the world of renewable energies. A tour of Fraunhofer CSE’s R&D facilities, including the CSE PV Module Innovation Lab, is also included in the package.
Instructor Chris Williams is an experienced installer of solar, solar thermal, and geothermal systems, and consults with a variety of renewable energy companies on sales, marketing and design. Course size is limited to 15 and slots are going fast — if you’re interested in attending, please see HeatSpring’s official event page. We look forward to seeing you on the 26th!
